Parijs — Bricks of Wonder, de grootste solo LEGO kunsttentoonstelling ter wereld, heeft zijn deuren geopend in de Franse hoofdstad. De expo van Belgisch kunstenaar Dirk Denoyelle heeft onderdak gevonden in Espace Champerret, een toplocatie in het 17e arrondissement op een steenworp van de Arc de Triomphe.
Met meer dan 1.500 vierkante meter en ruim 150 kunstwerken is dit de meest ambitieuze editie van Bricks of Wonder tot nog toe. De tentoonstelling omvat naast de vertrouwde werken ook een reeks exclusieve creaties die nergens eerder te zien waren, een immersieve PlayZone en een unieke Robotic Art Experience.
Denoyelle is een pionier in kunst met LEGO stenen en een van de meest herkenbare namen in zijn vakgebied. Zijn werk beweegt zich op het snijvlak van humor, nostalgie en vakmanschap, en spreekt een publiek aan dat ver voorbij de doorsnee LEGO fan reikt. Na succesvolle edities in Nederland trekt Bricks of Wonder nu resoluut de internationale markt op.
De keuze voor Parijs was zeer bewust. Als stad van kunst en cultuur is het de uitgelezen plek voor een expo die zich op dat snijvlak begeeft.
Affiches van Bricks of Wonder zijn intussen te zien in de Parijse metro, en het lokale team zorgt voor verdere bekendmaking in de stad.
Het buitenland heeft Denoyelle al lang ontdekt. Parijs is het bewijs.

Paris — Bricks of Wonder, the largest solo LEGO art exhibition in the world, has opened its doors in the French capital. The exhibition by Belgian artist Dirk Denoyelle has found a home at Espace Champerret, a prime location in the 17th arrondissement, just a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe.
Covering more than 1,500 square metres and featuring over 150 artworks, this is the most ambitious edition of Bricks of Wonder to date. In addition to familiar works, the exhibition also includes a series of exclusive creations never seen before, an immersive PlayZone, and a unique Robotic Art Experience.
Denoyelle is a pioneer in art made with LEGO bricks and one of the most recognisable names in his field. His work sits at the intersection between humour, nostalgia, and craftsmanship, appealing to an audience that extends far beyond the average LEGO fan. Following successful editions in the Netherlands, Bricks of Wonder is now firmly entering the international market.
The choice for Paris was a deliberate one. As a city of art and culture, it is the ideal place for an exhibition that dwells on that very intersection.
Posters for Bricks of Wonder can now be seen in the Paris metro, while the local team is ensuring further visibility throughout the city.
